Polenta Fries Recipe
Hi! Dr. Maria’s family is part Italian and they love polenta. In this recipe we turn those remade rolls of polenta that you can find at most grocery stores and turn them into fries!
You will get a little messy but don’t be afraid to let your kiddo cut, dip, and roll the pieces!
- Toddler-safe knife

EVERY STEP IS CHILD FRIENDLY!
Water and soap.
Preheat oven to 425F Degrees
That’s 220C if you are living with the metric system.
Slice and cut!
Slice the polenta into rounds. Once in rounds slice into sticks.
Lay out three shallow plates or bowls.
In the first one: add a couple of tablespoons of flour. In the next one: add one whisked egg. In the third bowl, add panko breadcrumbs.
Dip each polenta stick into the following in order:
Flour first (shake off excess!), then egg, then bread crumbs
Bake and Eat!
Lay on parchment paper, add ground pepper on top and bake in oven at 425F for 10 minutes!
Once done, dip in your favorite marinara sauce!
Ok this is not the prettiest picture but I swear they taste good.
